I began my career as an editor and animator, contributing to numerous TV commercials, documentaries, and films. With a passion for storytelling and visual craft, I transitioned into film direction—leading diverse projects ranging from high-end TVCs and impactful documentaries to feature films. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of media production from concept to completion.

Now, I’m proud to launch my own production company—offering full-spectrum media services under one roof. From creative development to final delivery, we’re committed to producing powerful, original content that resonates across platforms and audiences.

Imtiaz Malik

Chief Operating Officer, DeepRiversFilms

Imtiaz Malik is associated with Pakistan’s showbiz and media industry. For the past eighteen years, he has been working as a director, contributing to a wide range of projects including dramas, telefilms, commercial advertisements, and music videos. In addition to this, he has extensive experience in social media and digital media. Currently, Imtiaz Malik is serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Deep River Films

Sohail Javaid

With over 20 years of experience in the media and television industry, Sohail Javaid is a seasoned professional known for his work across TV dramas, commercials, documentaries, and entertainment programs. Holding a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and a professional certification in Film & TV from the National College of Arts (NCA), Sohail began his career as a video editor and quickly expanded his expertise into directing, post-production, content creation, and scriptwriting.

Throughout his career, he has built a strong and diverse portfolio, showcasing a deep understanding of storytelling, visual language, and production design. His work reflects a commitment to quality and creativity that continues to influence the evolving landscape of visual media in Pakistan.

In addition to his professional practice, Sohail is also passionate about education. He has been delivering lectures on film and television production at several leading universities in Lahore, nurturing the next generation of filmmakers and media professionals.
